Okavango River: Birdlife in photos

From kingfishers to eagles and bee-eaters to herons, Botswana’s Okavango Delta is home to almost 500 bird species making it a birdwatcher’s paradise.

I took some 3,000 photos when I was in Botswana (I’ve since edited them down to a slightly more manageable 1,400!), including a ridiculous number of photos of birds from the Okavango River.

I didn’t have room to include them all in my last post, so rather than leave them on my hard drive never to see the light of day, I thought I’d round-up some of my favourites here.
