There's much more to Barry Island than Gavin and Stacey. The island, which boasts sandy beaches, grassy headlands and hidden coves is a fantastic place for a Sunday stroll.

The theme of the gardens this year was the First World War and they looked very natural and organic, as though the gardeners hadn't done anything.
