Great Orme

Matsushima

This pretty, coastal town sits on the edge of a bay dotted with 250 small islands. It's one of the nihon sankei, that is, one of the three most scenic places in Japan.

Torquay

With its faded seaside glamour, once-grand hotels, palm trees and beautiful beach, this Devon town still evokes Riviera-like qualities.
